Classic Wooden ABC Blocks and Wagon
This set of twenty-eight alphabet blocks, made in America, comes in a toy wagon that also provides tidy storage and transportation. The blocks and wagon are made from sustainable basswood and are brightly colored with child-safe inks, handcrafted, and measure 1-3/4" (44mm)—a perfect size for small hands. Printed with non-toxic ink, there's a letter on four sides of each block, a number on one side, and a picture of an animal with its name on the sixth side. This is a gift that will be used through babyhood, toddlerhood, lower school, and beyond.
The family-owned Michigan company describes the manufacturing process this way:
"Milling, Printing, Embossing, Packaging. During all stages of production, a skilled pair of hands touches every block in this set. Each step of the way, at least 11 master craftspeople inspect all six sides of every block. A labor of life, we dote on the craft and care it takes to create each Uncle Goose block."
Blocks help children learn language, arithmetic, fine motor skills, and spatial relationships.
