Players of Quickword participate in every turn in a race to complete their scorecard first. To complete the scorecard, players must cross off each colored box by winning a word game of that category.
In a turn a player throws the die and moves the token around the board to select the game category to be played by all players. Quickword contains four different categories, each represented by a different color card. Blue cards are a straight race against the 90-second timer as players write down as many words as they can within the chosen subject, and only unique answers score. Green cards give six topics and players score points for unique answers beginning with the letter determined by the spinner. Pink cards require players to come up with as many words as possible that start with the letter indicated by the spinner and contain the two or more letters shown on the card. Finally, gray cards include several variations and degrees of difficulty.

Quickword modestly describes itself as The Ultimate Word Game. If it isn't, it's very close. For 2 or more players. Ages 10 and up.
